SIES-mini is a small-sized self-consumption hybrid solar energy system aiming at small residential homes and businesses with maximum power of 1.3 KVA to 2 KVA and daily energy consumption of 1.4 KWh to 4 KWh.

SIES-max is a large-sized self-consumption hybrid solar energy system aiming at larger residential homes and businesses with maximum power of 5.0 KVA to 8.0 KVA and daily energy consumption of 10.0 KWh to 15 KWh.

SIES-max could take use of energy both from sun, grid or generator, allowing you to be energy independent, assuring you to have access to continuous power without being affected by power shedding or blackout. It is the real solution for areas which suffers electricity shortage or have no electricity supply.

This project seeks to demonstrate the technical and business viability of the SMOPS system in a selected off-grid community in Africa. Due to its modular nature, the system can be replicated and scaled up to supply several households/communities by adding more units as viable inclusive business. Distribution of electricity is through a 230Vac, single/three phase at 50Hz micro-grid with a STAR topology limited to 3,000 metre radius.
